Renee's first cruise was on the Sun Princess (Princess Cruises) in 1999, but not as a passenger, as a crew member. Like many cruise ship crew members before her, she longed to see the world (and to also get away from cold, Canadian winters).
Renee no longer works at sea but she still cruises more than 60 days per year as a passenger, traveling with her husband, a cruise ship officer. Along with twin daughters, Renee has visited more than 50 countries and has written about the destinations and adventures she has experienced.
When not cruising and traveling around the world, Renee and her family call Canada home.
